Johnny Sparkle was created by award winning comedy magician Dave Cox for the World Famous Magic Castle in Hollywood California, and he has played in comedy clubs, celebrity parties, and even off Broadway. It's a thrilling combination of macabre comedy, and amazing magic.
The disco era comes alive and so does Johnny Sparkle, Zombie Magician. The show begins just as it did at his last gig at the fantastic Sands Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, where casino owner Howard Hughes would have said "He's the funniest magician I have ever seen. He kills! Knocks 'em dead! Love that Johnny Sparkle!"
His show is full of laughs and gasps, and he is guaranteed to evoke screams! (probably of laughter) He's accompanied by a new lovely assistant, as his last assistant has mysteriously vanished. If you see her, please notify her family. They are very worried.
Dave Cox is hilarious. More than that, he’ll fool the pants off of you. Then, he’ll very politely hand them back, unlike some of those weaselly trouser stealing magicians I’m sure you’ve heard so much about. A nice boy from the midwest, he's travelled the world appearing on cruise ships, on television, on Broadway (where he was nominated for a Drama Desk Award), for coporate events, and for celebrities at their fancy, fancy parties. Dave is a professional writer, actor, television host, and a master at improvisation. He has won awards for magic and comedy, and also has an Emmy, but doesn’t think he deserved it. Dave was recently featured as a mentalist on “Disney’s Do it Duo,” is a creator and head writer on Nickelodean’s “Massive Monster Mayhem” (currently airing in 37 countries), and he brought three of his original magical performances to the hit series “Masters of Illusion.” He looks forward to the opportunity to delight and amaze you.
